Lee measures and installs all of his window coverings except for his shutters. Lee has had a 20 year relationship with Mike Coronato who installs his O'Hair Shutters. By getting to actually see your windows, Lee can make better suggestions regarding the covering of your windows.
Lee Blinds is owned and operated by Lee Higginbotham
Lee Higginbotham grew up in Florida and Georgia, moved to Texas, graduated from Baylor University, and worked in the commercial real estate business from 1980-1985. From 1985-1987 Lee worked for Leland's Interiors in Arlington before starting Lee Blinds in 1987. Lee Blinds has had the same phone number since 1988. 1000 blinds sold and installed a year since 1987 means that Lee is responsible for over 24,000 window blinds, one at a time. Lee is married to Melissa since 1991 and has two teenage sons. One son is a keyboardist, vocalist, and song-writer at Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in downtown Dallas. One son is a baseball player and engineering student at W. T. White High School in North Dallas. Lee and Melissa have been active in their DISD public schools PTAs and Dads Clubs and have been financially supportive of several neighborhood private schools. Lee was President of Walnut Hill Homeowner's Association in the early 1990's. Lee is active in Dallas Paleontological Society and was helpful in the formation of the free public Mineral Wells Fossil Park in Mineral Wells, Texas.
